About
Sarah Keane is a folk-pop artist born and raised by the Atlantic coast in Co. Mayo. As a solo performer with an acoustic guitar, she is recognised for her powerful vocals, unique story-telling ability and enchanting performances.
Sarah explores themes such as friendship, family, love and loss in her inimitable style. Her songs feel as much like a collection of stories as it does music, somehow making the everyday and ordinary feel poignant and nostalgic. Sarah’s distinctive vocals, accompanied by keys and guitar and layered with orchestral elements, have combined to leave the listener feeling what it really means to be human.
Accustomed to the stage, Sarah has supported Irish talent at home and abroad, including Jack L, Lisa Canny, Hothouse Flowers, Junior Brother and CMAT and graced the stages of Cork Opera House, Theatre Royal, The O2 Oxford, the ICC London, and The Water Rats London.
Sarah released her debut album “Something Bigger” in November. The nine-track LP includes her singles “June”, “Letters” and “Thunder & Lightning”, which were featured on RTE Radio 1 Recommends and BBC, received nationwide radio play, with Hotpress dubbing the record “an enormously compelling listen”. The release was followed by two headline shows; London and a sold-out Dublin night.
By all accounts, 2025 is set to be something bigger again for Sarah.
